The house tries to take advantage of the privileged setting on which it’s placed, by allowing the construction of big decked terraces, in natural pine wood, that establish an out-of-doors experience, of freedom and connection with nature. The terraces are partially protected from the wind and sun by wooden slat walls.
As it is a two-floor building, and its considerable weight rests on a low-resistance terrain, the structural system was based on reinforced concrete, and a grid of stakes for the foundations.
